FROM THE TEAM
We started the year with a very busy January. One of the highlights for me has been the visit to Everton Football club where we entertained the Pass on The Memories Dementia group. I loved all the banter and they clearly enjoyed the performance by the reaction from each and everyone of the group.
Lots of new members have joined us and each one has fitted right in. It is great to have more fabulous people on board with SingMe Merseyside. Now Billy and I just need to learn everyone’s names!
We also enjoyed our first social night out of the year as part of one of our Chinese New Year performances. it was great to have over 30 of us out for a meal followed by drinks and cocktails. I was particularly happy to see members of the SingMe Local Solutions group join us too. Lets hope it’s the first of many!

Following on from an extremely busy and successful year, we are thoroughly looking forward to a jam-packed 2017! Last year, we performed in both Livepool cathedrals, won a national radio academy award for drama, we received the Wirral Globe Arts Ambassador award plus helped to raise a staggering £200,000 as part of our 118 performances and activites for our nominated charities. Thank you to each and every member of SingMe Merseyside for helping us to take our music to the masses with your dedication, enthusiasm and fantastic singing!
We certainly hit the ground running as we launched into 2017 with our usual set of classes, activities and there has been no slow down in frequency of our numerous performances. Our diary is already looking very healthy and new bookings are coming in thick and fast alongside new members joining the SingMe family.
I am very excited to see what new achievements and milestones will come this year and I am especially looking forward to our first ever transnational in December when we will be cruising to Belgium on board P&O Aurora and performing at Bruges Christmas Market!
